Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males announce a second 15th anniversary reunion show

Dan Kelly

Following the recent announcement of a one-off 15th anniversary reunion gig,  Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males have revealed a second show to appease eager fans.

With this year marking 15 years since the release of Sing the Tabloid Blues, a seminal record which saw Kelly recruiting some of Melbourne’s best up and comers to comprise ‘the Alpha Males’, Kelly and co. will join forces once again to play the record in full.

Making his debut with Sing the Tabloid Blues, the record catapulted Dan Kelly into the Australian music scene, prompting three ARIA nominations and slots at Big Day Out and Falls Festival.

Originally devised as a one-off affair to commemorate the release, the huge demand for tickets to the 15th anniversary reunion has seen Kelly add a second performance. In addition to performing Sing the Tabloid Blues in full, Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males will unleash a range of hits on stage, including the anthemic ‘Drunk on Election Night’.

With Loose Tooth already announced as support for the first gig, Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males have recruited Olympia to open for them the following night. It’s going to be a very special occasion, so don’t sleep on tickets.

Catch Dan Kelly & the Alpha Males at the Gasometer on Saturday December 7 with Loose Tooth and Sunday December 8 with Olympia. Grab your tickets here
