Saturday plans sorted.

What a treat, the likes of Courtney Barnett, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Paul Kelly, Marlon Williams and many more are teaming up to perform a livestreamed concert for Anzac Day.

Titled Music from the Home Front, the concert will honour the important day of remembrance, along with the frontline workers currently fighting the coronavirus crisis. Other names on the lineup include Ben Lee, Delta Goodrem, G Flip, Jimmy Barnes, The Rubens, Dave Dobbyn, with many more names to be announced in the coming days.

Music from the Home Front is a collaborative effort from Michael Gudinski of Frontier Touring/Mushroom Group alongside Australian national music treasure Barnes and will be screened on Channel Nine with the artists performing from wherever they are situated in isolation.

“Throughout history music has helped people through times of hardship,” Gudinski said. “Music from the Home Front is about uniting Australian and New Zealanders through the power of music in a time that we all need a bit of hope and happiness.”
