It’s no secret that Courtney Barnett has become a revelation on the global music stage. What began on a humble Hobart night in 2007 – where Barnett performed her first-ever show at The Lark Distillery – has since become something far more significant.
To celebrate Barnett’s tenure in music to this point, the Aussie singer-songwriter has launched her own live music experience and archive – a collection of gig videos, live television performances, never-before-heard desk mixes and a bounty of specially-commissioned show posters.

The archive takes inspiration from the extensive online archives of Neil Young and The Grateful Dead and offers a new vantage point with which to explore Barnett’s 14 years of touring – one which has seen her grace the stages of everywhere from Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre to London’s Brixton Academy, as well as festival stages such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and Splendour In The Grass.
Barnett’s sole full band live performance for 2020 – at The Corner Hotel in January – has also found its way onto the platform in video form, as have sets at the 2019 Fuji Rock Festival, on revered Seattle radio station KEXP in 2014, even from a performance in Santiago, Chile in 2019.
A treasure trove for the Barnett enthusiast, the new archive will bring any casual CB explorer up to speed.
