Eight hours of non-stop rock.

Aussie punk rockers Cosmic Psychos are joining forces with a bunch of other legendary musicians for a one-off show at Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal next month.

The eight-hour event, aptly named ‘Nice Day To Go To The Theatre’, also features the likes of Magic Dirt founding member Adalita, rock sisters Stonefield, garage rockers Mr Teenage and punk duo Thee Cha Cha Chas. The gig will support Aboriginal services organisation Nalderun.

Castlemaine is held dear in Cosmic Psychos’ hearts, given that its neighbour town Kyneton was where the band originated under the name Rancid Spam.

Nice Day To Go To The Theatre goes down Sunday January 26 at Theatre Royal, Castlemaine. Tickets go on sale Tuesday December 10 via Oztix.
