Plus, they’ll be screening a bunch of classic films over the holiday season.
Classic, Lido and Cameo Cinemas are inviting Melburnians back to their theatres with $5 tickets from Thursday December 17 until Wednesday December 23.
There’s a huge range of flicks to catch over the discounted period, including Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Clea Duvall’s Christmas tale Happiest Season, the Anne Hathaway-starring The Witches remake, music drama Sound of Metal and much more.
The $5 tickets will be available for a spread of new releases, excluding special events, previews, retro program films and sessions at Classic Rooftop Cinema, Lido on the Roof and Cameo Outdoor Cinema.
In addition to hosting a week of cheap flicks, the cinemas have also announced a bunch of festive parties and throwback screenings, with Classic Cinemas screening Fiddler On The Roof on Christmas Day while Lido and Cameo will be hosting special screenings of cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show for New Year’s Eve.
Plus, they’ll each be screening a bunch of classic films over the coming weeks to fill the gaps in the sparse release schedule as a result of COVID-19.
So, if you’ve been meaning to get back to the movies, there’s no better time to do it.
Say goodbye to the year that wasn’t by catching up on some lost time at the movies!
We are offering all customers $5 tickets to regular sessions from December 17—23 📽
