The City of Melbourne has opened its latest round of small business grants for those looking to get an extra bit of help with a project.

Grants up of to $30,000 are available to small businesses that will increase the diversity of the city’s business community, launch an exciting new innovative activity or product, or relocate to the municipality of Melbourne. Funding of up to $10,000 is available for businesses looking to enter an overseas market for the first time.

A recipient of the previous grant round, Tempus Entertainment, used the funding to relocate its music studio to Geddes Lane. So if this sounds like something you’re looking to do with your business, what are you waiting for?

Applications for the City of Melbourne’s small business grants are open until Monday September 9. For more info, head to the City of Melbourne website.

Got a great idea for a music start-up? Keen to expand your small business? Kick-start your career with one of our small business grants.
