Catch up with Alex The Astronaut and The Rubens in new episodes of our podcast, ‘Ferg Goes Live’

What’s better than a brand new episode of your favourite podcast? Two new episodes!

Two new episodes of our podcast Ferg Goes Live have dropped, so say hello to your weekend listening. Hosted by comedian and resident Beat contributor, Fergus Neal, the series features chats with everyone from musicians and comedians to philosophers and the founder of Netflix to ask the tough (and sometimes ridiculous) questions.

Alex The Astronaut has been described as one of “Australia’s most powerful and important songwriters.” In Episode #7 of Ferg Goes Live, we catch up with Alex to chat about everything from moving to New York on a soccer scholarship only to fall into the local folk scene to her lacklustre musical talent in primary school and her theory of nothingness.

Check it out below.

And if you’re looking for some solid belly laughs, check out our chat with Elliot and Sam Margin from The Rubens for Episode #8 in one of our funniest podcasts ever. The Rubens may be one of Australia’s most recognised rock bands, they’ve done everything in the biz from landing the coveted number one spot on triple j’s Hottest 100 to selling out stadiums, but they’re still down-to-earth dudes who certainly aren’t above putting shit on themselves.

Give it a listen below.

Ferg Goes Live is now available via Spotify and Apple.
