See the Colour Club House Band take to the stage.

Tomorrow night, Colour will be decorated with the sounds of the Colour Club House Band when it welcomes back live music to its bandroom for the first time since the pandemic hit.

Prior to COVID-19, Colour was quickly solidifying its reputation as one of Melbourne’s premier live music venues and nightclubs despite only opening up in October last year.

The venue had already welcomed some big acts from across the music spectrum – everyone from electronic royalty Shanti Celeste to Melbourne weird-rock legends HTRK, Canada’s Jayda G, even experimental metal duo Divide and Dissolve.

The venue has offered a stage for everyone from all backgrounds and inspirations, fostering its own community in the process. Colourful in nature, it’s also colourful in ethos and philosophy. Colour is a home for everyone.

So what’s the goss for tomorrow night?

Well, there will be two sessions taking place at the venue, with 20 spots open for a 7pm and 10pm sitting. The Colour Club House Band will perform headed by Mildlife’s guitar wizard Adam Halliwell while food will be served by local pizzeria Kaprica but it’s not mandatory to eat.

Colour is one of the first Melbourne venues to welcome back live music with an audience; it’s a capstone moment for all involved.

Book your spot for tomorrow night’s gig via Eventbrite.

We recently chatted to Colour’s co-owner Liam Alexander about the challenges the venue is currently facing. Read the story here.
