Campout Cinema is bringing the cinema experience to the great outdoors

Bush Hideouts, a lush bush camp situated along the Goulburn River just outside of Tallarook, is helping you make the most of the warming weather with Campout Cinema – an outdoor cinema experience like no other.

Kicking off on the first day of summer, Campout Cinema will offer a double bill of films showcasing the great Aussie outback, with screenings of Wake In Fright and Long Weekend. The classic films depict the power of our notorious natural surroundings, with Wake In Fright demonstrating the brutality of rural Australia when a teacher finds himself broke, stranded and hitchhiking through a remote outback town, while Long Weekend sees nature seeking revenge on a couple after they disrespect their surroundings on a camping trip.

The drama/thrillers will keep you entertained while food trucks, a full bar and popcorn amplify the cinema experience – plus you can bring along your camping gear and stay the night. Located 80 minutes from Melbourne, this is the perfect way to enjoy the summer weather and break out of your weekend rut.
