The announcement of these much-anticipated shows comes almost two years after their last visit and the band is excited to confirm that rock legends, Rose Tattoo will be appearing as the special guest for all shows outside of Perth. “We are looking forward to coming back to Australia and sharing the stage with the legendary Rose Tattoo. It’s gonna be a rock n roll experience you don’t wanna miss,” Josh Todd said.

Formed in 1995 in Los Angeles, California, Buckcherry’s original lineup consisted of vocalist Josh Todd, guitarist Keith Nelson, bassist Jonathan J.B. Brightman and drummer Devon Glenn. The band quickly gained attention with their raw, gritty sound, reminiscent of classic rock bands like AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1999, contained hit singles like Lit Up and For the Movies, which catapulted them to fame.

How bad boys Buckcherry climbed to the top of the rock’n’roll tree

Over the years, Buckcherry has undergone several lineup changes, with Todd and Nelson remaining the core members. The band’s music has evolved while maintaining their signature edgy rock sound. Their 2006 album, 15, marked a significant turning point in their career, featuring the chart-topping hit Crazy Bitch. This song, in particular, became an anthem for a generation, and its explicit lyrics and provocative content sparked controversy while also increasing the band’s popularity.

Buckcherry’s ability to craft catchy, radio-friendly rock songs with a touch of rebellion has kept them relevant in a changing music landscape. They continued to release successful albums like Black Butterfly (2008) and All Night Long (2010), further solidifying their status as a rock powerhouse. The band’s music often touches on themes of love, lust, addiction, and the ups and downs of life, resonating with fans who appreciate their candid and relatable lyrics.

In addition to their studio albums, Buckcherry is known for their energetic live performances. Josh Todd’s charismatic stage presence, combined with the band’s electrifying music, makes for an unforgettable concert experience. They have toured extensively, sharing the stage with some of rock’s biggest names and building a loyal following.
