Another one bites the dust.

One week into its two-week run, Brunswick Music Festival has announced the cancellation of all remaining shows. Taking over venues across Brunswick, including Estonian House and Brunswick Mechanics Institute, the festival was scheduled to run until March 22.

Due to bring the likes of Xylouris White, Sheer Mag, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Dyson Stringer Cloher and more to the stage over the coming week, BMF 2020 has been cut short by the Moreland City Council.

“Due to public health concerns with the coronavirus (COVID-19), Moreland City Council is cancelling all remaining shows at its venues for the Brunswick Music Festival 2020,” announced BMF on Facebook this afternoon.

“Moreland Council is taking the necessary precautions to protect the wellbeing of our community, which is our number one priority. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the cancellation. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2021.”

All tickets for remaining events will be automatically refunded.
