Pull on your favourite flares and get ready to shimmy into the AM because Brunswick has a new funk and disco collective, Social Disco. The group will be bringing late night dance parties to Sydney Road, with their first event kicking off this week.
Obviously, you can expect to hear wall to wall disco and soul bangers while you turn it out on the dance floor, but there’ll also be a mix of late night house and some classic guilty pleasure songs to keep your limbs moving all night long.
If you rock up to the venue at 10pm, you can get your glam on courtesy of the free glitter station before DJs Rosa Lux, Bec Bartlett and Gub jump on the decks. The dress code is ‘happy’, so interpret that however you please — just make sure your outfit doesn’t restrict you from busting a move.
These nights are intended to feel like a house party full of love, fun and killer tunes and look to become a mainstay of Sydney Road’s party scene. So head down, make some friends and be merry.
