Bluesfest unveils a brand new batch of sideshow tours

Blues, soul and gospel galore.

Even though it’s five months away, Bluesfest continues to dish out the goods, this time announcing a fresh new slate of sideshow tours.

Just announced for sideshows are US rocker Dweezil Zappa, gospel-soul group Cory Henry and The Funk Apostles, Sydney-born singer-songwriter Tal Wilkenfeld, Afro-pop duo Amadou and Mariam, and The Allman Betts Band, who are currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band.

The Byron Bay festival also recently announced sideshow dates for Patti Smith, Eagles of Death Metal, George Benson, Brandi Carlile, Larkin Poe and plenty more. The lineup itself features Dave Matthews Band, Crowded House, John Butler and Jenny Lewis, among others.

Pre-sale for the newly-announced sideshows commences Thursday November 21 and general sale kicks off Monday November 25 via Bluesfest Touring.
