Bring a friend so you’re not dancing with yourself.

For the first time since 2015, UK punk icon Billy Idol has announced he’ll be returning to Australia for a national tour.

The Aussie tour follows Idol’s current stint in the US, alongside Bryan Adams, and his upcoming Las Vegas residency. Complete with his full band, Idol will be arriving Down Under early next year, with his Melbourne stop unveiled as the first act for next year’s Australian Open Live Stage.

Idol’s tour announcement also comes just as his former band, Generation X, re-release their remastered titular album from 1978. The box set comes complete with additional tracks, non-album singles, b-sides unreleased outtakes and more.

Check out the tour dates for Billy Idol below:

Wednesday January 29 — AO Live Stage, Melbourne VIC

Friday January 31 — Riverstage, Brisbane QLD

Saturday February 1 — Hordern Pavilion, Sydney NSW

Tickets for Billy Idol’s Brisbane and Sydney shows go on sale Friday August 16 via Frontier Touring.
