Babe Rainbow have been busy boys. Currently making their way across the globe as part of a 60+ date tour encompassing Europe, The UK and America, the Australian psych-folk outfit have just revealed they won’t be halting their travels any time soon.

With the last of their international tour dates set to wrap up in mid-November, Babe Rainbow will hit Australian stages later that month with a six-date stint on home turf. In addition to a slot at Fairgrounds Festival in NSW, they’ll hit Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney for headline gigs before returning to Byron Bay for a hometown show to cap off their mammoth tour circuit.

The news comes in hand with the release of their third album Today, which dropped, well, today.

“This Babe Rainbow bootleg is just like a Japanese playlist set in a Japanese Kristofski love affair. And all things under our blonder than blondest star,” said the band of their new record. “The songs of Today were invented with the concept of a coming strolling together for a week. Without anything in the bag to see what we could see see see, and all that we could see see see was the bottom of the deep blue sea sea sea.”

The Babe Rainbow hit the Corner Hotel on Thursday December 5, tickets available hereToday is out now via Flightless Records.
