Aussie rockers Bigger Than Jesus drop unsettling music video for ‘Let’s Be Frank’

The crew will be celebrating the clip’s release later this month.

Melbourne outfit Bigger Than Jesus have dropped the music video for their rock track, ‘Let’s Be Frank’, and it’s a little bit creepy.

Having taken inspiration from ’80s mystery film Blue Velvet, the clip depicts the five-piece doing what they do best: rocking out. However, it also shows vocalist Steve Lucas crawling around with an oxygen mask, similar to that of film villain Frank Booth. The music video for ‘Let’s Be Frank’ was filmed at Prahran’s OneSixOne and edited by Adam Russ.

Bigger Than Jesus unveiled their first their most recent LP, One For The Road, last year. It’s was the first we’d heard from the group in two decades. ‘Let’s Be Frank’ is just one of two music videos being screened at Bigger Than Jesus’ forthcoming gig at Chasers Nightclub later on this month. You’d better nab a ticket to catch the other one in all its glory.

Bigger Than Jesus will be playing at Chasers Nightclub in South Yarra on Friday November 29. Get your tickets via Eventbrite.
