Opening day will see the Best Of The Next showcased. With clips ranging from as short as 30 seconds to as long as 19 minutes, punters will be bequeathed with a whole range of works residing within categories such as Driven By Music, Historical Australian Women Animators Collection, Animated Melbourne Made, Best New Independent Chinese Animation and a number of Panorama explorations.

There’s even The Classic Sex Tapes Collection uncovering a different dimension to sensual videography. Other must-see features include The Sparrow’s Flight (USA), Citirama (UK), Mezcaliente (France) and Among The Black Waves (Russia) in black & white.

Dublin’s revered Institute of Art, Design and Technology will be running their own showcase unveiling their Best Historical Films and Best New Films in the process. There will also be special retrospectives held for film greats Joan Gratz and Tom Schroeder.
