Angie McMahon and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever to headline this year’s Meadow festival

Angie McMahon

The festival, formerly known as By The Meadow, returns to regional Victoria this March.

Having already revealed a few of the acts set to hit the stage at Bambra for this year’s festival, Meadow has revealed the full spread of acts on board for its seventh instalment.

Joining the previously announced Frankie Cosmos, Elizabeth, and Surprise Chef comes a huge offering of homegrown and international acts, with Angie McMahon and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever leading the bill.

Last year saw Angie McMahon release her debut album Salt, a culmination of guitar-driven gut-punches, all backed by her smouldering voice.

Another pinnacle of the Australian music scene, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever will bring their anthemic rock to the Bramba Bowl ahead of their forthcoming new album.

Joining McMahon and RBCF comes Philadelphia’s Sheer Mag, certain to tear it up with their stomping hard-rock, along with legendary songwriting trio Dyson Stringer Cloher and returning noughties favourites, Youth Group.

Alongside the stacked bill of artists, Meadow will once again offer a slot for an emerging artist from the Geelong, Surf Coast, and Otways regions to perform at this year’s festival, with applications now open.

In light of the current bushfire crisis, Meadow will be donating 20 per cent of profits from this year’s ticket sales to Victoria’s Country Fire Authority.

Meadow is happening from Friday March 27 until Sunday March 29 in Bramba, Victoria. Tickets are on sale now via the festival website
