Come on down to the swamp.

Thornbury haunt Swamplands Bar is bringing the goods on Friday July 12, welcoming two big acts to the stage.

In time with NAIDOC Week, Ngarrindjeri and Gunditjmara musician and dancer Amos Roach will be giving a special show at the Thornbury bar. Roach’s music carries themes of healing, and is commonly performed alongside dance. Inspired by traditional First Nations culture, Roach performs a fusion of traditional and modern Indigenous music, in addition to reggae and rap. Find more information here.

Following Roach is country rock’n’roll outfit Mick Daley’s Corporate Raiders. The band recently released ‘Everybody’s Waiting for Something To Happen’ in support of the Extinction Rebellion environmental movement. The Raiders will be supported by Lot 56 and Van and Cal Walker.
