The first time since their formation in 2009.
US rock outfit X Ambassadors have unveiled the dates for their debut Aussie tour in celebration of their second studio album. The crew will be heading to Adelaide before heading up and down the east coast.
X Ambassadors released their latest album, ORION, back in June. One of the tracks off the record, ‘BOOM’, touches on themes of emphatic recovery and personal improvement. The artwork for ‘BOOM’ is written in Braille and produced with a yellow-on-black design, the first piece of work keyboardist and blind member Casey Harris is able to experience visually.
The trio’s debut album, VHS, reached double-platinum status and saw them leap from indie alt-rockers to Billboard names. Exploring the relationship between brothers Casey and Sam Harris, the record embedded audio snippets from childhood videos and early recording sessions.
