Set across three nights in March, 3000 Summers offers audiences some of the best local and authentic urban music in Australia. With each night headlined by Alt. Music Group’s very own including ceekomusic, Françoistunes, and Yaw Faso, the shows guarantee a smooth selection of R&B, Hip-hop and Dancehall.

Drawing on inspiration from African, Caribbean, and UK sounds, and combining elements of Afrobeats, Bashment, Rap, and Hip-hop, Yaw’s unique versatility has moulded these styles seamlessly together, resulting in an impressive catalog of music.
Melbourne based artist JAKISA has been making music since the age of 10 The singer/rapper records and mixes his own vocals, his career officially kicked off in 2016 with his first single ‘The Way’ which was produced by his best friend BillWill, this record was featured on blogs and was given positive feedback. His sound is heavily inspired by usher, wiz kid, Tory Lanez, Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, the late Michael Jackson and prince. Reincarnating textures from his Mauritian and Italian heritage and drawing from his classical Persian and Chinese musical studies, the Australian performer-producer takes inspiration from unique traditional melodies featuring self-made instrumental samples and an array of energising, hypnotic rhythms. Reflecting upon the globalised nature of music, Jyayo’s vocals and beats deliver an introspective symbiosis of old and new, taking us to familiar yet unexpected places. Jyayo has collaborated with the popular 070 rappers Tree Safari and Malick from New Jersey, USA and has recently been featured on GRM Daily in the UK.
