A special international editon of Isol-Aid Festival is happening tomorrow

Travel around the world in eight sets.

Across the past three weekends, Isol-Aid Festival has brought a huge spread of live streamed sets from Australian musicians to our screens and now, the Instagram Live music festival is looking abroad.

With international travel off the cards for the foreseeable future, Canowindra musician Gordi and the team behind Isol-Aid decided to bridge the gap virtually.

Titled ‘Lunch Without Borders’, the special international instalment of Isol-Aid will go down around lunchtime tomorrow and feature eight acts from across the world.

Playing back-to-back 15-minute sets, the festival will take you to the US to catch Julien Baker and Overcoats, Iceland for a visit with Of Monsters And Men’s frontwoman Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Asgeir, and Britain with Shura, as well as featuring sets from Australian acts Gordi, Katie Dey and George Alice.

As always, the sets will take place on each musician’s own account, with Isol-Aid directing punters with playing times and Instagram handles.

While accessing the live streams is free, the festival organisers encourage those in a position to donate to help struggling musicians by giving to Support Act’s COVID-19 Emergency Appeal.

Lunch Without Borders is happening on Wednesday April 8 from 11:30am AEST. For more information, visit the Isol-Aid Facebook page
