On the first Friday of every month, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in Blues In The Green Room – The Rochester Hotel’s authentic juke joint experience, showcasing the best the Australian blues scene has to offer. The inaugural evening will see talented one-man band Rattlin’ Bones Blackwood headlining, complete with kick drum, guitar and firey rhythm.
The award-winning Dan Dinnen will also be there, with his classic take on finger picking and wailing blues harp, as well as Frank Bell and Jess Parker – who are coming together for a special set of acoustic originals and classics. There’ll be plenty of drink specials on offer – including authentic deep south cocktails – in an evening sponsored by Ezra Brooks Bourbon Whiskey, Bodriggy Brewing Co. and The Hidden Sea wines.
