You can eat burgers, drink beer and play dodgem cars in the one place thanks to Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, Melbourne’s new amusement park bar.
Like a real-life Adventureland in the middle of the city, there’s also 67 arcade games, a bowling alley, special cocktail bar and an interactive XD Motion Theatre.
If we haven’t sold you yet, the cocktail connoisseurs are also whipping up milkshakes with a twist — yes, yes, there’s alcohol in them and the ‘Shark Tanq’ must be at the top of your list. It’s a stunning concoction of Tanqueray Gin, blue liqueur, lime, coconut syrup, egg whites, orange bitters and berry Red Bull, with gooey gummy shark lollies mixed in.
This is the second Archie Brothers to open up, with Sydney home to Australia’s other wacky theme park bar. The wild ride begins when you walk in, and there’s also the opportunity to book functions as well as Christmas parties — gift-giving Santa Claus would be proud.
