Australia’s original Donut and Beer Festival is back in Melbourne this March. The one-day, picnic-style festival takes over the lawns at Gasworks Arts Park on Saturday March 10. Entry is just a gold coin so festival-goers can afford all the treats their heart, or stomach, desires. So, bring your picnic rugs, kids and fur-babies welcome.

The all-ages experience has an extensive program including, over 30 doughnut, food and beverage vendors, a jumping castle, doughnut decorating, temporary doughnut tattoos, live local music and DJ Jon Bling, doughnut eating competitions, best doughnut awards, doughnuts from all around the world and an adults-only beer garden with alcoholic slushies.

The vendor line-up includes Holy Bombolina and Honey Dee Loukoumades, who have both won awards for Melbourne’s Best Donut in 2017, as well as Simply Gluten Free, Señor Churro and the Pham Sisters-Vietnamese Vegan Eatery which offer gluten-free and vegan options. Plus, more vendors specialising in doughnuts, mini doughnuts, Nutella, ice-cream, gelato, burgers, coffee, alcohol and more.

Donut Fest on the Green supports local businesses and brings communities together with the donation on entry going towards charity Foodbank Victoria, to distribute food to those in need.
