The Thornbury Local (formerly Bender Bar) is owned and run by the same wacky Bianco brothers and their team. You'll find a slice of community and a whole lot more with The Thornbury Local dedicating itself to live entertainment and fostering a "come one come all" mentality. The shared philosophy of owners and brothers Andrew and Christian is that The Thornbury Local is always open (six days a week) and open to everyone. The Thornbury Local is good spot for a quiet beer, a glass of wine, a delicious meal or just a place to forget about the working week. Above all, The Thornbury Local gives you an alternative to the isolation that comes with a broadband connection, pay TV, or one of the many other services we buy that foster a loner, anti-social attitude.
