A local watering hole in the heart of Westgarth, The Merri Creek Tavern is a bastion of High Street.
Live music is the bread and butter of this boutique, local watering hole. An intimate venue, it’s the perfect place to catch up with your friends and get up close and personal with some of Melbourne’s best up and coming bands – or just chill out with old school vinyl spinning in the front bar, a variety of tap beers and house wines to sip on, heaps of friendly staff and incredible good vibes.
Famous for their weekly old-time jam sessions with heaps of musicians – sometimes as many as 15 – playing violins, banjos, guitars and mandolin. Anyone is welcome to join in the Appalachian-style jam!
