Half Moon

Half Moon's recent renovations have been inspired by the Brighton, bayside surroundings and the accompanying ocean breezes. While it's a large, multifunction venue encompassing a restaurant, lounge, wine bar and several private rooms, a relaxed, beachside charm pervades throughout. Even in the street-side beer garden, replete with potted plants and outdoor heaters. But the lounge tends to be where most of the serious drinking takes place and it's not hard to see the appeal. Polished wooden floors are complimented by a large open fire, chocolate brown lounges and large bay windows with sweeping views. The room is sunlit and spacious, ideal for getting together with friends for a cocktail or glass of wine.

Speaking of cocktails, there's a good mix of classics and in-house specialities to tempt you. The Brighton Blonde is Half Moon's signature drink, and features white chocolate and passion fruit liquor blended with vanilla vodka and a dash of grapefruit served Martini-style. The wine list is equally impressive and there's a separate wine bar fitted out with a combination of polished floors and marble.
