Located above The Chophouse, Goose and Vinyl offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a cocktail and recover from your steak/mash/vegetables downstairs. Adopting a decidedly retro aesthetic, the bar features a selection of comfortable leather couches as well as a private dining area. It's all very warm and inviting, with a nod to classic New York charm.

Still, the one thing that sets Goose and Vinyl apart from its competitors can be found in the title. Yes, we mean vinyl. They have around 500 old records on hand and take music requests from patrons. Whether you feel like some disco classics, obscure rare groove or classic, 1980's pop, chances are they've got just the record. And, yes, they have ABBA; you supply the flares.

The alcohol selection might not be as extensive as the vinyl, but it holds its own. There's a good mix of cocktails on hand, plenty of beers (local and imported), and premium wine options. The crowd, meanwhile, is a mix of Chophouse dinners looking for a nightcap and people who appreciate a little David Axelrod on original vinyl while supping a serious drink. That sort of diversity makes for a casual venue with a nice little record collection.
