Element Lounge
there are no venues to display.
Element Lounge began life as an underground storage facility. While those industrial elements still underscore its decor, it's been transformed into a fashionable cocktail bar with a nod towards Chinese philosophy. According to the proprietors, the whole fit-out is based around Chinese philosophy and the five elements of nature: fire, wood, metal, water and earth. In other words, the long concrete bar, rocks and cement adhere to a broader aesthetic than just looking nice. Whatever the philosophy behind the decor, Element Lounge does look lovely; a mix of concrete, wooden shelves, bamboo cuttings, cut glass, and laser cut steel - the five elements coming together to aid your drinking. On that note, the drinks menu runs for several pages and offers a cocktail for every one of the elements. If you prefer something a little more traditional they offer a classic cocktail menu with prices running from $12 to $16. A variety of imported beers are also on hand and there are several wines available by the glass. While Friday and Saturday nights host guest DJs to facilitate a little dancefloor action, there's a more laidback feel throughout the week, ideal for an after-work drink. With leather couches, ottomans, soft-padded wall panels, or the reliable comfort of a bar stool, Element Lounge mixes unique design with creature comforts.
