Curve Bar (Arts Centre)
there are no venues to display.
The appropriately named Curve Bar, on the south side of the Victorian Arts Centre, adds yet another touch of class and refinement to any Arts Centre experience. Open barely a year, this architecturally designed den of all things cool is, well, very cool. Bar tables and stools allow those in for a quick drink the ease of enjoying a swift glass of wine before they dash to the theatre. And for those after an extended boozing session - perhaps to 'warm up' before heading out to the Famous Spiegeltent - there's a plethora of couches and comfy chairs to plant your posterior on.
For any true liquor aficionado, Curve Bar has a list of alcohols that will keep you under the table on any occasion. A fine list of vodka and gin makes for many a pleasant martini experience, while the cocktail list is likewise entrancing. Try a pacific martini for a fruity take on the original (with peach and orange liqueurs), or a Bloody Mary with Curve Bar's own chili vodka for a spicy treat that will leave you breathless.
There's also a humble list of wines, and a lengthy list of beers - both tap and bottled - which will take you around the world and back. Grab a Sri Lankan Sinha Stout for a treat, or nestle in with a bottle of Japanese Yebisu for a taste of the Orient.
