Caterina's Cucina e Bar
there are no venues to display.
The '80s were all about the big lunch. The sort of lunch that would see executives leave the office at 1pm and not return for several hours - if at all. Think: business cards and expense accounts. Temporary GFC hiccups aside, the business lunch has been back in vogue for a few years now; companies realise that a couple of thousand dollars on (liquid) lunch is a solid investment if it means securing a million-dollar deal.
If you're looking to impress clients or colleagues over lunch, than Caterina's Cucina e Bar will do the job. A restaurant/bar, it specialises in rustic, north Italian dishes. Its other speciality is legal and business clientele. The point is, you can see the money in the room, especially when that money is splashed on expensive champagne to seal a new deal.
Whatever the occasion, the wine list lives up the restaurant's upmarket reputation. There are 100 wines on the main list, 40 on the reserve list and 25 by the glass. All this is complimented with a cocktail list that would make any Made Men proud. Caterina's Cucina e Bar may be 50 years in the future and half a world away, but there's more than a dash of Don Draper about the place.
