C-Duce
there are no venues to display.
As the name would suggest, this South Melbourne venue (located behind the casino) is geared towards a slinky, house music crowd. The decor certainly aims for an upmarket look, with an opulent front room and a selection of private booths housed opposite the main bar. If you can imagine a mix of marble surfaces, ornate wood dividers and a colour scheme that pairs pinks, purples and peach then you're in the ballpark. It's exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from a nightclub/bar in the Southbank/South Melbourne precinct.
On that note, the music is a mix of commercial house tunes and club remixes of Top 40 tracks. While the in-house DJs are more than capable of holding their own, guest DJs and club nights are a regular occurrence and by midnight the venue is usually heaving. While the drink selection at C-Duce isn't going to trouble dedicated cocktail bars, they offer a decent mix of imported beers, tropical cocktails and premixed spirits. If you're in the area and looking for a glammed-up venue to hear the latest commercial dance tracks, enjoy a drink or meet a new friend, C-Duce is worth a look.
