Your first visit to the Butterfly Club may yield lingering glances from your fellow patrons as they watch you gasp and wonder at the veritable doll house that is the bar's interior. Like a Lewis Carroll-inspired wonderland, the shelves, tables, chairs, hallways, nooks and crannies of this bar are laden with porcelain (and plastic) dolls and accessories to inspire the whimsy in your soul. Go on; you wouldn't be the first adult to pick one up and have a play. There you go; feels good, doesn't it?

While the eccentricities of decor may draw your 1st visit, the charm of the venue will ensure your return. The cosy front room is host to a variety of music and cabaret acts, local and national alike, with many a new performer cutting their theatrical teeth on the Butterfly Club's stage. A walk upstairs and an earthly paradise of lace-clothed porcelain dolls await. Or for those wanting a less-stimulating view, the garden out back allows for a more laidback affair. Although, with music floating in from the bar you may just want to get those dancing pants on.
