Bistro Flor
there are no venues to display.
Bistro Flor has a lovely, European charm. With its bistro-style tables, white walls, ornate accessories and velvet drapes, it's basically France via North Carlton. And let's face it, in North Carlton there's not much choice between the bars with second-hand furniture and other bars with retro furniture. Bistro Flor adds a touch of Euro excitement to the area. Aside from welcoming ambience and lovely decor, wine is the main drawcard here. The selection is as extensive as you would expect, showcasing both the best in local and imported options. If it's early afternoon and you're not quite ready for wine, they also specialise in a wonderful Pimms Number One in a jug - plenty to get you and friends through the day in good spirits. Scotch is another highlight, with over 30 options to choose from. Whatever you choose to drink, it's hard to go past the venue's old-world, European bistro charm. It's the sort of place regulars travel across suburbs to visit, roping in friends with conversations that begin with, "I know this great little place ...". Add a wonderful tapas menu and mains with a distinct French touch, and you have a real standout in wine bar circles. Well worth a trip up north on the 96 tram.
