The video game about nothing.
A pitch for a new video game based on Seinfeld has surfaced on the internet and it looks like the stuff dreams are made of. Titled Seinfeld Adventure, the point-and-click game is, much like the beloved sitcom, about nothing.
The brainchild of game developer Jacob Janerka (Paradigm) and animator Ivan Dixon, director of Childish Gambino’s animated ‘Feels Like Summer’ film clip, the game is still a pipe dream for now.
However, the pair have given a taste of their vision through a written pitch as well as a video pitch trailer showcasing what the game will look like, what it will involve and everything else you need to know to get truly excited about this prospect.
Rather than regurgitating plot lines and jokes, Janerka and Dixon aim to create new storylines and gags that remain faithful to the tone and themes of the show.
All they really need to get started is the green light from the folks behind Seinfeld, you know, so they don’t get sued. Their aim is to generate some public interest through the pitch trailer before trying to get the project off the ground.
