Name/band:

“Dead City Ruins.”

Define your genre in five words or less:

“Hard as a rock.”

Someone is walking past as you’re playing, they get a beer and tell their friend about you… What do they say?

“All those guys pants are so tight their junk is showing!”

How long have you been gigging and writing?

“The band was formed in London 2007, relocated to Melbourne in 2009.”

What has been your favourite gig you’ve played to date?

“Our album launch at Cherry bar a couple of weeks ago. Always a great feeling playing to a packed house.”

Which band would you most like to either have a battle/showdown with, or simply play a show with?

“Steel Panther would be great to play a show with. Those guys are piss funny.”

What do you think a band has to do these days to succeed?

“I dunno I’ll let you know if it happens.”

In dealing with each other, day in, day out, how do you deal with confrontations that involve either a mate or a bandmate? Do you have a championship move to prevent a mate being in harm’s way?

“The squirrel grip is always a good one to get a mate away from trouble when he’s got some serious beer goggles on.”

Do you have any releases to date? What? Where can I get it? Is it good?

“We’ve just released our debut album Midnight Killer. You can pick it up at one of our shows damn it.”

Why should everyone come and see your band?

“We like a drink and a party and as far as we know, disease free.”

When and where are you playing next?

“Cherry bar May 21and 28.”
