THEY

THEY are a five-man hard rock band who like their guitars loud, their drums
pumping and their vocals memorable. Released in April 2012, Unleashed is a
labour of love from THEY. The four-track EP is a diverse showcase of the
band’s fondness for live music and the energy and passion that can be found
when a crowd and a band connect. With instantly recognisable melodies, chugging
riffs and dynamic structures, Unleashed is a mature first step from THEY.
With a gig history that has only just begun, THEY have come from playing
underground pubs to packing out the Espy Gershwin Room as part of the Gunn
Music Artist Showcase grand final. Other highlights have included scoring an
intensely coveted slot on the HEAVY Music Magazine’s Launch Party at The
Corner Hotel in Jan 2012, and an energetic headline show to a hooked audience
at the Central Club Hotel in Richmond in April 2012. Throughout these
shows, THEY have been busily building a following playing alongside bands
such as Six ft Hick, Teramaze, Decimatus, Elm Street, Bellusira and Subjektive,
along with many others.
Unleashed captures the personal influences of each member of the band as
THEY march towards the common dream of playing hard rock music for those
that like to rock. This is just the beginning for THEY.
