Beat Magazine is currently looking for a few extra hands to join our crew. Here’s what’s on offer.
Editorial Assistant Internship:
We’re on the lookout for a couple of interns who would like to get experience working in the music industry. You’ll be working alongside Beat’s editors to write news stories, develop engaging content, and help with the production of our magazine. We’re after someone with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of current digital trends, and a passion for quality writing.
We’re offering a one-day-a-week internship for those who have either completed or are undergoing a journalism or media degree, as well as a short-term intensive internship that’ll have you coming in three days a week.

Social Media Internship:
This one-day-a-week internship will have you working alongside Beat’s Social Media Manager. You’ll need an understanding of current digital trends, a knowledge of Beat’s voice, experience managing social accounts across multiple platforms and the ability to apply data-driven insights to your work. This position is ideal for someone currently undertaking or already completed a relevant degree.
