The Temper Trap announce homecoming shows for Melbourne and Sydney

At long last.

The Temper Trap are taking to the stage on home soil once more, marking their first Australian shows since their co-headline tour with Garbage last year and their sell-out headline tour last May.

The special homecoming shows will see the group work through their longrunning back catalogue, including hits and fan favourites such as Sweet DispositionNeed Your LoveThick as Thieves and more.

In an added bonus, the band will be debuting new tunes as well as taking to the stage at the Recital Centre for an unplugged performance.

“We’re pumped to be coming back to Australia to play a couple of shows this Spring," said the band's Dougy Mandagi. "We always love coming home and we can’t wait to see our fans again. We’re looking forward to Australia hearing some new sounds from us as well."

The Temper Trap's last album, Thick As Thieves, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart, their second record to do so.

The Temper Trap will play The Croxton Bandroom on Thursday November 23, The Melbourne Recital Centre on Friday November 24 and the Metro Theatre, Sydney on Wednesday November 22. Tickets via Frontier
