Sweet Dreams, Silverchair
Silverchair? Hibernation? What! Hopefully they're just hibernating for the winter...
Formed nearly 20 years ago, iconic Aussie band, Silverchair have today announced that they have entered an 'indefinite hibernation' for the 'forseeable future' via an open letter to their fanclub, the Llama Appreciation Society.
The guys have decided to put the band into a "deep sleep" and have bid fans "sweet dreams" while they embark on their own individual projects. Not sure how many times Silverchair have broken up, changed around, collaborated and what not but this seems to be a proper end. They've been relatively quiet for a while now so I guess it was in the works for a while.
"We stand by the same rules now as we did back then...if the band stops being fun and it's no longer fulfilling creatively, then we need to stop."
What can we say? Well Silverchair, After All These Years, We will Miss You Love, as you walk on Straight Lines All Across The World and maybe one day, or even Tomorrow, you will Spawn Again!
