Sleep Decade Announce Single Launch And Debut Album
Melbourne quartet Sleep Decade has finally put their dream pop tunes into something tangible with the release of their debut album Into Spinning Lights.
The album was recorded in between “eating tim tams, surfing glennies and kicking the footy” at A Pocket Full Of Stones Studios in point Lonsdale, with the help of producer Nick Huggins.
To give the fans a little idea of what to look forward to, the band has released the single Bicycle, a song they feel “explores the moment when hopelessness and longing is overturned by a strong connection with another human being.”
Sleep Decade will be launching Bicycle at Bar Open in Fitzroy on Sunday September 16, supported by Seagull and Staffan's Song. Tickets are available for $10 on the door. Their album Into Spinning Lights is to be released later in October.
