School Damage reveal new album

They'll be heading on tour to launch the new record.

Melbourne anxiety-pop outfit School Damage have given us a big hit of news today, revealing a new album, single, film clip and album launch dates all in one go.

The new album A To X follows the band's highly acclaimed self-titled debut last year, featuring the outfit's unique brand of off-kilter pop. The album, which is set to drop next month, will be accompanied by an 11-date national tour in which the band will hit cities including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as regional areas such as Ipswich, Geelong and Castlemaine.

School Damage have given the first taste of the forthcoming album with the release of the single 'Assimilate' accompanied by a film clip as jangly and left-of-field as the band's own sound. 'Assimilate' promises a strong effort on A To X, with the band continuing to refine their signature sound.

A To X drops on Friday August 31 via Chapter Music. They'll hit Woody's Bar on Friday September 14.
