SAATSUMA to play The Gasometer to support asylum seekers

The enigmatic band are donating their proceeds in support of refugees on Manus and Nauru.

Melbourne electronic-dance duo SAATSUMA are set to perform a headline show at The Gasometer, with all proceeds going to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in response to Australia’s refugee crisis.

"There is a humanitarian crisis happening in our name on Manus Island right now,” the band said.

SAATSUMA consists of artists Memphis LK and Cesare Rodrigues and are represented by New World Artists. They released their debut album Overflow in August of this year to critical acclaim.

The Gaso will fire up with SAATSUMA’s immersive sounds on December 21.
