This panel focusing on mental health and the music industry is essential for any performer

Musicians will be engaging in frank discussion about mental health in a series of events rolling around Australia in the next month.

Presented by APRA AMCOS and Support Act, the Music And The Mind panel events will see artists and mental health professionals come together to address an important issue in the music community.
Research has shown a high incidence of depression and anxiety among musicians, with low pay, unreliable work, bullying, stress and other factors all playing a part.
A diverse range of panellists - including psychologists, GPs, songwriters and Support Act representatives - will discuss how to maintain a healthy and creative mind, and seek support when needed.
Events are free for APRA AMCOS members, and open to songwriters who would like to learn more about joining APRA AMCOS.

The panel will be at the Abbotsford Convent Tuesday May 23 at 6pm. More info here.
