Nick Cave returns to Australia for a series of intimate Q&A events

These could get really existential.

Award-winning musician and general mood-killer Nick Cave will be returning to Australia in January to answer all the burning questions you have about his life or his music, in a series of in-conversation events.

The iconic Bad Seeds frontman tested the waters with these speaking events earlier this year in the US and Ireland, combining his signature sadistic music style with an open conversation with the audience. Having found them valuable, Cave will now be travelling around Australia to continue these intimate events. Of course, fans will also hear some of Cave's most beloved music on the night as well.

"I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable — in the recent live shows we have all shown a kind of willingness to open up," Cave said of the in-conversation evenings.

"The audience tends to ask more challenging, revealing, playful and ultimately serious questions. You never know what you are going to get. They can be fearless and they can go deep.”

Cave's career spans decades and has earned him a cult following of devoted members. Along with the Bad Seeds, Cave has released 16 albums, including the most recent record Skeleton Tree.
