Fremantle sextet The Morning Night lace their new single with a teasingly familiar guitar riff, which sounds awfully like the iconic rolling chords of Golden Brown by The Stranglers. Their understated but hypnotic single strikes a lovely balance between ‘70s folk and psychedelia, and the soft strumming electric guitar I associate with an Automatic For The People era REM. Nice.
