More acts have joined the Download Festival lineup

From a metalcore powerhouse to scuzzy punk.

Download Festival just got a little larger for its Australian debut, thanks to the addition of a few more quality acts.

Perth metalcore six-piece Make Them Suffer have joined the Melbourne bill, bringing their cinematic and aggressive sound to the festival's inaugural outing.

Their third LP, Worlds Apart, was released in 2017 to widespread acclaim -- propelling them to complete a 140-date world tour last year.

High Tension will also join the Download lineup, who have long been a favourite for Melbourne audiences. Their sophomore LP Bully saw them take out 'Beast Heavy Album' at The Age Music Victoria Awards.

Download Festival goes down on March 24 at Flemington Racecourse.
