Late Night Venue Pony To Close Its Doors

One of Melbourne's most famous late night music venues, Pony, have sadly announced they'll be shutting their doors on Sunday December 2.

Part owner of Pony, Jon Perring, elucidates that the decision was “essentially a business decision based on not being able to agree on a rental that would work for us to operate long term into the future.’’

Camillo Ippoliti, who owns the infamous Revolver,  The Toff In Town and Cookie, has negotiated a new lease for Pony, explaining that "it is likely that after renovations live music will continue’’.

It is difficult to predict if and when Pony will return, but for the sake of the wild and wicked late night music lovers in Melbourne, we hope we can ride the white pony once more.
