Kirin J Callinan Melbourne Show

One of the country's most engaging musical figures has announced an all-too-rare Melbourne headline show, with Kirin J Callinan set to hit town to preface his upcoming full-length W II W.

The tour will celebrate the launch of the album's title track on 7", which will provide an appetising sampler to Kirin's debut LP - due out later in the year.

 

Kirin kicked off 2012 with a standout appearance at New Zealand's Camp A Low Hum, as well as a haunting showcase at Montsalvat. Kirin also had a stint supplementing his sonic fingerprint upon the work of Melbourne's Lost Animal in the live setting, following on from his role in Jack Ladder's Dreamlanders.

 

This tour will see Kirin flesh out his pedal mastery with a full band.

Support on the night will come from DCM, Machine, Kangaroo Skull and a DJ set from Forces.
